That is our motto at West Valley Vision Center. We are available Monday through Friday from 8-5 and on Saturdays from 10-4. We are located in the RidgeView Business Park off Chena Pump Road behind Denali State Bank.
The Optical Staff includes licensed, certified and apprenticing Opticians. Our Technicians are certified as both Paraoptometric Technicians and Contact Lens Technicians. These qualifications set us apart from other local Optometric practices. Our Optometrists include Dr. Keys, Dr. Mavencamp and Dr. Brannon Mills. Our staff is available Monday through Saturday to provide you and your family with complete eye care services and products.
When it comes to correcting vision, many people choose contact lenses. Contact lenses allow you to achieve 20/20 vision without the distraction of wearing traditional eyeglasses.
Contact lens wearers love them because they simply feel they look better. Others select contact lenses because they want to alter their appearance with colored lenses. After all, not everyone was born with baby blues!
Other people choose contact lenses for a variety of reasons, including:
They offer a wider field of vision
Contact lenses don’t steam up in the rain
They are hard to misplace
No matter why you choose contact lenses, we can help you find the pair that is right for you. Whether you choose daily-wear or extended-wear lenses, our staff will be able to answer all of your questions and concerns. We will also explain exactly how to care for your contact lenses, so that you never have to worry about irritation or infection.
When it comes to your vision needs, you don’t want to take any chances. No matter what you do for a living, you need to be able to see as much as possible in order to reach your maximum productivity.
That’s why our professional staff takes the time to give you the most comprehensive eye exam possible. We’ll use the latest available technology to not only create the right prescription for your needs, but also examine the overall health of your eyes – and check for glaucoma, cataracts and other diseases that could impact your vision in the long term.
After your exam is over, we will then discuss all possible options to help correct your vision, including:
Refractive Eye Surgery
We’ll make sure you have the information you need to make the crucial eye care choices that will determine how you see the world.
Our doctors of optometry provide a wide range of services, including:
Comprehensive eye exams
Prescription drugs for some eye diseases
Cataract and other eye surgery pre–operative and post–operative treatment
Eyewear prescriptions – glasses, contact lenses
